Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil over the steaks and rub it in to ensure they are evenly coated.
- Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
- Cook the steaks for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Adjust the time for your desired doneness.
- Once cooked, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, slice, and serve.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
- For thicker steaks, you may need to increase the cooking time.
- Letting the steak rest helps retain its juices.
