  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the crumbs onto the chicken to adhere.
  5. Spray both sides of the coated chicken breasts with cooking spray.
  6. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  7. After 10 minutes, flip the chicken and spoon marinara sauce over each breast. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
