Ingredients

- 1 pound Italian sausage links (mild or spicy)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- If desired, toss the sausages in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place the Italian sausage links in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 9-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the sausages are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 70°C).
- Once cooked, remove the sausages from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Cooking times may vary based on the size of the sausages and the air fryer model.
- For extra crispy skin, you can add an additional 2-3 minutes to the cooking time.
- Serve with your favorite sides, in a bun, or sliced over pasta.
