These air fryer donuts are fluffy, delicious, and easy to make! With just a few ingredients, you can enjoy warm, homemade donuts without the guilt of frying.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • for coating cinnamon sugar
  • for air fryer non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Lightly flour a surface and turn the dough out. Roll it out to about 1/2 inch thick.
  5. Use a donut cutter or two round cookie cutters to cut out the donuts. Make sure to also cut out the holes.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray the basket with non-stick cooking spray.
  7. Place the donuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may have to do this in batches.
  8. Air fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove the donuts and let them cool slightly. Dip them in cinnamon sugar while still warm.
  10. Enjoy your air fryer donuts!

Notes

  • Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • You can also glaze the donuts with a simple icing if desired.
