Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions

- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight).
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or zucchini to the skewers for added flavor and color.
- If using metal skewers, there’s no need to soak them.
