A refreshing twist on the classic Caprese salad, featuring ripe strawberries, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil.
Ingredients

- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Arrange the sliced strawberries and mozzarella on a serving platter, alternating between the two.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the strawberries and mozzarella slices.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top of the salad.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drizzle with olive oil if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, you can marinate the strawberries in a little balsamic vinegar for 30 minutes before assembling.
- Feel free to add avocado or a sprinkle of nuts for extra texture.
