- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in a baking dish. Layer with meat sauce and the remaining spaghetti mixture.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the meat sauce.
- Use whole wheat spaghetti for a healthier option.
- This dish can be frozen before baking.
