Description
A refreshing and fragrant twist on the classic lemonade, infused with lavender and fresh mint for a delightful summer drink.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and dried lavender. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let the lavender syrup steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Add the fresh mint leaves and muddle gently with a wooden spoon to release their flavor.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice with garnishes of fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
Notes
- For a stronger lavender flavor, steep the lavender in the syrup longer.
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
