Description
Crispy homemade potato chips made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Optional spices (paprika, garlic powder, etc.)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandoline or knife.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat the slices dry.
- In a bowl, toss the slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
- Place the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove when golden and crispy.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness of slices.
- Experiment with different seasonings.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
