Description
This delicious homemade grilled cheeseburger is juicy and packed with flavor, perfect for any barbecue or family gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles (for toppings)
- Ketchup and mustard (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
- Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade grilled cheeseburger!
Notes
- For more flavor, try adding Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
- Feel free to customize your toppings based on personal preference.
