- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
- Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to the marinade for extra flavor.
- For a smoky flavor, consider adding a few drops of liquid smoke to the marinade.
