Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to the marinade for extra flavor.
  • For a smoky flavor, consider adding a few drops of liquid smoke to the marinade.
