Gingerbrave is a sweet and spicy cookie treat inspired by the classic gingerbread.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add molasses, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For a spicier flavor, add more ginger.
- Decorate with icing if desired.
