Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.

- Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot to 375°F (190°C).

- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container, but they are best eaten fresh.
