- 1 pound white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lime wedges for serving
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub this spice mixture onto the fish fillets.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
- While the fish is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing the sour cream, lime juice, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
- Once the fish is cooked, break it into large pieces.
- Assemble the tacos by placing some fish on each tortilla, then topping with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, and avocado slices.
- Drizzle the sour cream sauce over the top and serve with lime wedges.
