Description
A classic Italian salad made with fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and basil, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Ingredients

- 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- On a large serving platter, alternate layers of sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the layers.
- Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
