  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Celery sticks, for serving
  • Blue cheese dressing, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
  5. While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the hot sauce, white vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce over them. Toss until the wings are fully coated.
  7. Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • Feel free to adjust the heat of the sauce by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • If you prefer fried wings, you can deep fry them in hot oil instead of baking.
