- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better texture.
- Rub the ribs with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place the ribs on the grill bone side down. Close the lid and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, maintaining the temperature.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce every 10 minutes.
- Remove the ribs from the grill when they are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bones.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with additional BBQ sauce.
Notes
- For extra tender ribs, wrap them in aluminum foil during the last hour of cooking.
- Feel free to experiment with different BBQ sauces for varied flavors.
- Serve with coleslaw or potato salad for a complete meal.
