Tender and flavorful BBQ Baby Back Ribs that are easy to make at home. Perfect for grilling season or any backyard BBQ.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better texture.
  3. Rub the ribs with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Place the ribs on the grill bone side down. Close the lid and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, maintaining the temperature.
  5. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce every 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the ribs from the grill when they are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bones.
  7. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with additional BBQ sauce.

Notes

  • For extra tender ribs, wrap them in aluminum foil during the last hour of cooking.
  • Feel free to experiment with different BBQ sauces for varied flavors.
  • Serve with coleslaw or potato salad for a complete meal.
