Description
Crispy and delicious homemade banana chips made in the air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
- In a bowl, mix the banana slices with lemon juice and cinnamon (if using) to prevent browning and add flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden and crispy.
- Remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool completely before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter flavor, you can sprinkle a little sugar on the banana slices before air frying.
- Make sure to cut the bananas evenly so they cook at the same rate.
- Store any leftover banana chips in an airtight container at room temperature.
