Description

Juicy and flavorful chicken kabobs cooked to perfection in an air fryer. Perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner or a fun summer BBQ.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes, bell pepper, and onion.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken and vegetables, and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Thread the marinated chicken and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
  6. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden color.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
  • Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference, such as zucchini or cherry tomatoes.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or over a bed of rice.
